No need to present it to you anymore, the Fast & Curious format has acquired a wide reputation on social networks. But are you familiar with the Fast Life format?
On the same concept, Fast Life offers to answer very specific questions in a very short time. Why and how to adapt this format for corporate videos ? We reveal everything to you.
What is a Fast Life?
Developed by the French media Konbini, the Fast Life format allows the interviewee to introduce yourself briefly. The concept is simple: In about one minute, you answer an interview questions and answers. The questions can be very diverse: more focused on your business or more personal. The aim is to get to know you. It is therefore more interesting if the questions are a bit “offbeat” in order to really unveil personality interviewees. Thus, the Fast Life format has many interesting features for the business world.
Here is an example with the famous French actor Vincent Cassel:
Why is it a good format for corporate videos?
This very simple format is a good option to make, either as a presentation video, or in parallel, after some time spent in the company. The second scenario allows you to really install questions related to the business and thus to give an idea of the general atmosphere that reigns within it. This format can then also be used as recruitment video to new collaborators.
In any case, this format will allow you to learn a little more about your colleagues, to know their tastes, their origins etc. You will thus be able to more easily start a conversation on a specific subject, new employees will be able to get to know the company more quickly...
How do you do a Fast Life?
Nothing could be easier to achieve ! Upstream, all you need to do is imagine a dozen questions to ask your interlocutor, which he can answer easily and quickly. The aim is not to expect highly developed answers but, on the contrary, short answers whom follow one another very quickly. The video should be dynamic. So it's more interesting if the answers are Spontaneous and that they follow one another.
Also, make sure that the questions that you ask are not too general or too closed. A “yes” or “no” answer would not be interesting for your viewers. Prefer questions like “What job did you want to do when you were a kid?” or “Can you tell me an anecdote about your colleagues?” that will encourage your interviewee to develop their answer a bit.
And, thanks to Cenareo it is very easy to make these kinds of videos. All you have to do is use a very simple template composed of question panels to be defined according to the interviewee, and to film his answers, all while automatic.
