Smartmedia continues its partnership with Cenareo
After a first successful collaboration, Smartmedia, an advertising agency developing Print and Digital solutions in the environment of hypermarkets and shopping centers, is continuing its partnership with Cenareo. Formerly CityMeo, this innovative company is developing a dynamic, intuitive and collaborative signage management solution, in SaaS mode. By renewing its trust in Cenareo, the group wishes to boost its national network and accelerate the development of its digital offer, which now represents 70% of its turnover.
“Originally, we were looking for a flexible and agile operator in order to boost and develop our national digital network. With Cenareo, over the last 4 years, we have found a trustworthy partner. The ergonomics and simplicity of its management interface allowed us to renew contracts despite increased competition.”
With Cenareo, Smartmedia offers a tailor-made offer to its customers
Cenareo offers a Content Management System (CMS) that allows remote management of broadcasts on display screen networks. For its part, Smartmedia, a management company based in galleries and hypermarkets, is shaking up business codes and creating an offer specially adapted to its lessor customers. Indeed, in addition to making its inventory available to advertisers, it gives its customers speaking time on each screen of their establishment.
These donors who have access to the Cenareo management platform can thus program and broadcast communication campaigns for their stores, products and events.
The voice shares of the screens are therefore shared between the donors of Smartmedia live and the advertisers whose content is managed by Smartmedia.
This model required specific development by Cenareo in order to respond to Smartmedia's new model: the separation of the management of voice shares. For the lessor, the gallery or the hypermarket, it is a very interesting offer that allows to have attractive communication as close as possible to the act of purchase, with a very interesting campaign ROI and a conversion rate.
“Our collaboration with Smartmedia was a challenge, we had to help them digitize. Together, we co-built a new feature for their specific needs, in addition to our traditional control solution.”
David Keribin, CEO of Cenareo
Smartmedia customers, such as Leclerc, Super U or Carrefour, were immediately seduced by the Cenareo platform and in particular by the ergonomics of the service. Thanks to digital signage, Smartmedia customers can thus control displays on a fleet of remote screens. The use of the collaborative platform, simple and turnkey, offers them agility and flexibility, but it also allows them to save precious time. With this service, they modernize the image of their brand, enhance their know-how and ensure that communication on their offers, events or promotions is always perfect and up to date.
“Originally, our main activity was focused only on print but we had a strong desire to diversify in order to offer a digital offer. Thanks to the involvement of Cenareo's teams (partners and developers), their desire to adapt their solution to our needs and the ease of deploying the platform, we were able, after 2 years of development, to launch our digital offer and increase our fleet of screens from 15 to 1000 screens in the country. Now, our ambition is to install 300 additional screens every year. In addition, thanks to our partner, we have obtained the ACPM certification.”
The advantages of the solution:
- Screen sync
- Content creation
- Collaborative management
- Scalable network
- Dynamic flows
- Share of voice management
- Product reliability
- Responsiveness of the teams
- Offline operation
- Contextualization of broadcasts (reactive weather campaign, facial feedback, sensors,...)
An easily deployable solution with quick returns on investments
However, the market is changing and the trend is now aimed at equipping the interior of the sales area with display screens. This is why in order to meet the demands of its customers, Smartmedia plans to develop its offer with the following axes:
- Extend its offer within the points of sale, always allowing the manager to use the screen for his own communications while promoting his speech spaces on the advertising market
- Qualify audiences in order to offer ever more relevant spaces for advertisers, in particular through facial detection software and audience measurements for each advertising panel.
- Apply programmatic digital advertising codes to the physical world (rest of the inventories put on instant auction for example)
- Extend these offers to outdoor advertising by equipping car parks with LED panels
