Cenareo, a pioneer in digital signage and screen-based communication, has reached a major milestone in its expansion by acquiring Dedicast and its Neotess software solution. This strategic move enables the group to consolidate its technological sovereignty and launch a new vertical dedicated to critical industrial environments.
A strategic vision: "the alliance of performance and sovereignty"
Two years after the acquisition of EasyMovie—a mass video production software—the purchase of Neotess aims to solidify Cenareo's position as a leading digital signage player, addressing the most critical requirements of the Retail, Corporate, and Industrial sectors. The objective is to transform clients into true "media owners" through a comprehensive portfolio of integrated solutions and services. By integrating On-premises deployment capabilities (secure local installations), the group meets the strictest sovereignty demands of the industrial sector.
A SME – scale-up alliance for European ambition
This acquisition combines the stability, field expertise, and historical industrial knowledge of Saint-Étienne-based Neotess with the technological power and international agility of Cenareo. The Neotess teams will remain in Saint-Étienne to ensure a strong regional presence and a high-touch, high-tech level of service. This expertise will drive Cenareo's new "Industry" vertical, guaranteeing clients long-term stability and access to accelerated innovation. For Cenareo, this represents the integration of a team specialized in industrial workflows and critical data, particularly for On-premises needs.
"This partnership with Neotess is the union of two complementary skill sets: Cenareo's technological agility and Dedicast's historical field expertise. Beyond the numbers, this is a human adventure to build the future of our industry. 2026 will be the year of our joint development: more solidity, more expertise, and reinforced innovation across our platforms to offer our clients total control over their communication worldwide," affirms David Keribin, CEO of Cenareo.
Cenareo is stepping beyond its "100% SaaS" comfort zone to integrate On-premises solutions, opening access to high-value industrial markets. This approach transforms the group's strategic thinking, business model, and offerings while remaining focused on the media value delivered to clients.
Complementary solutions and product synergy
Neotess becomes "the industrial broadcasting solution by Cenareo," dedicated to industrial environments and critical content. Both software platforms will coexist, each maintaining its core strengths:
- Cenareo: A cloud-native, ultra-scalable solution ideal for retail, corporate communication, and screen monetization.
- Neotess / Dedicast: A robust and flexible solution, available in both SaaS and On-premises, for industry, critical workflows, and touch interactivity.
This complementarity allows Cenareo to offer a unified architecture under the Cenareo brand, based on four verticals: Retail, DOOH, Corporate, and Industry. Neotess will maintain its roadmap while benefiting from Cenareo’s innovations. There will be no abrupt software merger; instead, the focus is on complementary features driven by a shared media vision: content / distribution / data.
