[2/6] Video transition tutorials: the motion transition

30/8/2018

And no, transitions don't just happen during editing! In this second episode about transitions we find your favorite Cenareo consultant, dear Boris. Today, he explains to you how to make movement transitions. Your hardware comes down to your smartphone.

If you haven't seen the first episode of our new series, no problem, we're offering you a catch-up session just right here. After the trick of the hand on the lens, we move on to the transition movements.

These are mainly used in order to change location fluidly. All you need to do is make a quick movement of your smartphone in one direction. Once the movement is over, stop the recording and change the location. In order to continue the transition start your video in the same direction, then work your way up to your subject. Hop, there's your transition!

Know that you can make this transition by going up, down, or also left and right. The important thing is to always go back to the plan from the same gesture, otherwise your transition will not be smooth.

Well, while waiting for your results, we're going back to our transitions.
